The first steps in a beginning of the career often happen difficult, we study on our own failures and errors, and we are getting experience. Gradually we become professionals. Unfortunately, professionalism is not always the precondition of career growth. Sometimes we seem to be rather well-experienced and seem to be professionals in what we are doing, but we are not growing up. In a beginning of the career we often think that it is enough to be competent and diligent in the work, benevolent and not to make conflicts. We wish to show that we can perform any work which even has been not qualified. Thereby we show the loyalty and diligence. Unfortunately, the only praise we get for such behavior is a label of the person, who can incur not qualified work instead of undertaking only those cases which can confirm our competence and abilities.

Talk about your achievements. Start only that work which will help you to show your abilities. Show the competence. Emphasize the main thing, do not stick in trifles. Nobody will appreciate your diligence and order on the working table, but your new ideas and innovations will be definitely appreciated much!

To look serious and smart there is no need to be a shrew. And only a self-esteemed woman can be really feminine and truly desired. Ability to show the power in time (to delegate powers) is the important administrative skill testifying to a self-trust. If you feel not enough educated and prepared for a new role, pass special training for the development of corresponding skills.

Women often adhere to the set game rules. We seldom ask again the task and blindly follow the established system. We do how it is accepted. However, that who depends on rules does not see further the nose, he\she cannot move forward. And only the one, who follows the own rules, is capable to define the way and to do opening.

As a rule, everything that we receive in a life, it about what we have asked. Requirements should be accurately and clearly defined. It is necessary to speak about the desires and about what efforts you are ready to put for their realization. The success comes to those people who clearly and accurately state the ideas, express desires and put requirements.

Many women who have an evident chance for office growth feel so strongly adhered and obliged to the firm or the chief that they even do not venture any changes. They are grateful to good relationships between the colleagues. Emotional attachment is a convenient soil for manipulations. Very often we have so many abilities to take a higher position then we take now, but because of our scariness to the new and unknown future. We, women, are taking everything emotionally and close to heart. But this is their main disadvantage. Absence of emotional predilections will help you easy and coolly estimate conditions and work much better. Try to reduce conversations on personal themes to a minimum in the presence of colleagues and a management. Understand that attacks and criticism not always need to be perceived as the personal insult. Learn to react structurally to criticism, and to use it as a stage for the further growth. If your manager criticizes your work, so do not consider the critics to be addressed you personally. The critics more often is given to your work. React to the facts, instead of an emotional cover of criticism.

Office policy will be independently whether you participate in it or not. If you do participate, so you can benefit and construct your career and if you do not participate - then the advantage will be taken from you.
