Effective modes of work

To work less and to earn more. It would seem that it is impossible. All of us constantly convince that to earn more, it is necessary to work more. Result needs quality, instead of quantity, to it is quite possible to work less, and to have the best result.

It is necessary to think creatively to find more effective modes of work, but to begin with it is necessary to be opened to that your methods of work are not effective. Only after you recognize this, it is possible to start to search for ways of increase in efficiency of the work.

Rule 80/20 (a principle of Pareto): 20 % of efforts give 80 % of result, and the others of 80 % of efforts - only 20 % of result. Try to reduce to a minimum these of 80 % of unproductive time and efforts. Here some advice:

Cut down time for e-mail checking, the saved minutes invest in more significant projects. Learn to say "no" to people who are taking away your time. Try to communicate only with people whom the result of work directly depends on, reduce quantity of pointless conversations to a minimum. Give the most part of time to the business. Do not distract on a detail.

Remember that work will fill up all the time which is available for it. It means that no matter how much time you take for this or that problem, whether it would be a week or two days, the result will be the same. It is possible to paraphrase: if not to put to terms the task will be never done. Always put rigid terms, cultivate the desire to finish the project to term.

Rational use of energy, unlike time, forces you to think of results. Working more intensively during the short period of time, it is possible to achieve more than working for days, getting tired and distracting.

Do not forget that you are not the slave, so give yourself rest but only when you really need it. Learn to separate laziness from exhausting.

How to estimate, how much time each project demands? To what project is it better to give more attention? Try to do for yourself the following: try to work with e-mail 30, 60 and 90 minutes in day. Compare results. If you see that for 30 minutes 50 % of tasks will be ready, for 60 minutes of work you will make 90 % of result, and for 90 minutes - 95 %, choose for yourself the best parity time/quality, and adhere to it.

Let's think how to reach result including monetary, working less. At least time less.

It is necessary to search for possibilities always. Even working on a very good work.

How much time do you spend to get at work and back? If it is possible, find work with the free schedule and payment by result. It is better to sell result, than time. Use the working rhythms. Each person has time when brains work more effectively and is better for creation, and there is time, when nothing comes to your mind, but and does not strain doing monotonous, habitual actions. Having planned in advance the working day taking into account specific features, you can make much more affairs for the same time.

Give in outsource everything that does not bring result but only takes away you time, resources and ... nerves. Find monotonous, repeating actions which should be done, but as you consider, doesn't worth your time, and employ someone to do them, someone, whose time costs less or to whom money is urgently necessary. Such people can be found practically always.

Find ways to receive the passive income. After starting the system of reception of such income (it can be selling info goods or the automated web site, investment etc.) you should not work anymore - money will come to you.

And in general - constantly search for possibilities to work less, and result to get more. Soon this constant optimization will become a habit to you, and one fine day with amazement you will find out that there was a set of leisure hours and days for work on the vital purposes, on rest and entertainments, on friends and a family, on reading and self-education, on hobbies and new acquaintances.
